Getting Started
As school officials prepare for initial candidacy or for the decennial self-study process, they will find the Standards for Accreditation are central to the process. Following the Standards themselves in this section are detailed explanations of each of the Standards, rating guides for schools to use with the Standards, and finally a document which will be useful to schools in developing mission statements, academic, civic, and social expectations, and rubrics for use in assessing the academic expectations.
