The school’s professional staff shall communicate:
- individual student progress in achieving school-wide academic expectations to students and their families;
- the school’s progress achieving all school-wide expectations to the school community
What to Look for:
Do teachers and the school as a whole clearly communicate to students and their families individual student progress in achieving school-wide academic expectations in the mission? Does the administration clearly communicate to the school community the school’s progress in achieving the academic, civic, and social expectations?
- the school makes special efforts to communicate frequently in writing to students and their families regarding individual student progress in achieving school-wide expectations for learning
- the school monitors assessment results to ensure that all students are successfully meeting the school-wide expectations
- at least once a year the school communicates to the community whole school progress achieving the academic, civic, and social expectations in the mission based on agreed-upon indicators
